The Pope’s Message to the American Congress
Pope Francis’ speech at the American Congress was focused on these issues: “Let us treat others with the same passion and compassion which we want to be treated. … Let us set for others the same possibilities which we seek for ourselves. We need a dialogue about our common home, we need a conversation which includes everyone … Abolition of death penalty, racial injustice, weapons trade, stopping the most damaging effects of climate change, wealth inequality, offering immigrants a better chance at life rather than deporting them, inequality, incomes, poverty, create possibility and hope for all.”

Mrs. Clinton said the Pope is a great personality of our day, active and productive in the recovery of humanism, solidarity, active coexistence and peace to all mankind on global dimensions. So, undoubtedly Pope Francis deserves to be honored as a laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize.
