Peace as defined in our English Dictionary is a state of calm, quiet, and the absence of war or strife.
Many people don’t seem to realize that peace is for ever gone from the earth and will not return until man understands how to keep peace or until those who love peace more than life will be the only remaining people to receive this gift from Heaven of everlasting peace.
Today on this earth war rages and acts of violence are repeated over and over again throughout the cities and neighborhoods of the world. In this the nation of the free and the brave we continue to kill one another because of our greed, anger, and disobedient natures.
Peace is not demonstrations of violence because of what is considered an act of legal homicide. The burning and looting of stores and businesses is not a demonstration of peace but leads to more anger and strife.
Al Sharpton and his followers are not men of peace. If Rev. Sharpton is a minister of peace then I am the Pope. What we need in this nation is no more excuses for crime. No more drive by shootings, no more drug killing, no more rapes, no more gang killing, no more robberies, no more evil in any form, no more police having to protect themselves and others with armed force.
Why do we hire men and women to protect us from the evil crime and when they do, we want them hung. Why do we continue to persecute one another? I don’t care if an officer is black or white tall or short. If I break the law I am not innocent.
If we want police to use armed force then we must support them but if we continue to rob, kill, rape, molest children, then we are at fault not the police. A police state will come before a complete collapse of our civility. If we don’t change then crime will become so prevalent that our police will have no choice but to use extreme force.
Peace begins with each and every person
Not until we as a nation wake up to the fact that we are our own worst enemies this phase of violence will never pass until we destroy ourselves. The only people who will escape this terrible destruction are those who will not fight with others and seek peace without strife. They will go to safe places and keep away from the terrible destruction of our civilization. .
If people would realize one very important fact about peace it might help us to live together and keep violence checked. Peace begins with each and every person. A peaceful heart and a love for God and Mankind will solve all problems.
