Philosophical musings of Chic Hollis
For many of those traveling on commercial airlines this holiday, the new poke and grope procedures are offensive. Since 9/11 there have been no reports of airline passengers apprehended in the U.S. who were carrying “conventional weapons” with them. After two failed attempts by airport security to discover passengers determined to wreck havoc on infidels with shoe bombs and underwear concealed explosives, all passengers boarding commercial airplanes are considered by the TSA dangerous, suicidal criminals.
What happened to common sense in this country? Who is paying for such a wasteful security program? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to drop one atomic bomb on Al Qaeda gatherings? Or re-direct the airport security money toward gathering intelligence to thwart the intentions of the Jew and Christian-hating Muslims? Do we need this modern crusade against innocent travelers in order to halt the growing risk of insidious terrorists? Have frowning, frisking TSA gropers caught any defiant terrorists yet?
Without similar expensive security measures, passengers on cruise ships, trains, and buses are presently being ignored by TSA agents and terrorists. The ubiquitous media outlets, who thrive on reporting scary incidents involving Americans here and abroad, have not reported to my knowledge any terrorist plots against those commercial carriers.
The illusion is false that Americans are welcome anywhere in the world. Even in our own society we are shunned, ignored, and even disrespected if we are not a member in good standing of some discriminatory local group. Law enforcement officers often treat suspects as if they were already convicted criminals out of jail on probation.
The best way to stay “out of trouble” in the U.S. is to go nowhere: isolate yourselves from the masses in a crowded space who will stampede when aroused by a rumor, false or true. The mentality of the TSA agents is to expect the next passenger to be a dangerous terrorist hiding a small sophisticated weapon of mass destruction on his person or in his carry-on parcel!
In order not to profile any passenger who flies on commercial airlines, TSA agents treat everyone in line at the security check points as a potential suicide bomber with the intent to harm anyone who flies with them. With their demonstrated lack of success in identifying paranoid suicidal maniacs, the TSA agent’s futile effort to protect citizens is a terrible waste of money and our time standing in lines at airports.
Despite the growing federal deficit, Big Brother has our interest at heart according to the propaganda of the TSA mouthpieces. No cost is too much to protect “at risk” American lives. We know that we live in a very dangerous world. Our elected representatives can’t ignore the possibility that the rebellion of foreigners against U.S. imperialistic policies that implement financial and Christian agendas will spread and innocent American lives will be lost in some unwelcome terrorist response.
Isolation is the only way to avoid becoming involved with those dangerous psychopaths who are armed and ready to kill their hated adversaries. No one in the U.S. can be sure who their enemies might be, of course. In these troubled times of being unable to trust anyone, it’s best to avoid strangers or anyone who seems too eager to sell you something. Better to stay home and save your money for the tax increases that are on their way just waiting to be implemented when the timing is more appropriate.
There is no security program anywhere in the world that guarantees a safe flight and a pleasant journey free of concerns about how well the airplane engines are maintained. Not all pilots are alert and competent enough to land a huge jet plane in the Hudson River. If there is such a risk of terrorism in an airplane, why not ask passengers if their vacation or business trip is really necessary? Or offer them parachutes? If everyone was armed on board, would a terrorist still be tempted to buy an expensive ticket for their own suicide ride?
Isolation is the best protection against the constant threats of suicidal Muslims. Even those poor victims of the Muslim U.S. Army Major couldn’t be protected from his wrath against our society.
So, why not stay home, build a bunker, and lay in provisions? Venture forth only to earn enough baksheesh to eat well and watch Netflix or Cable TV. Why go to the stadiums to watch baseball or football when TV coverage of sporting events is so much better? The price of food at home is much cheaper, and there are no lines at the fridge. Just buy a larger TV set. Stadiums are places where suicidal maniacs could kill many more Americans with an IED than in one commercial aircraft. Villainous fans are not poked and groped when they enter the stadium!
If you are one of those extroverts who truly enjoys mixing with rowdy masses of humans, buy a life insurance policy and keep your health insurance paid up. However, if you prefer being groped and poked, buy an airline ticket.
