The economy of most nations is struggling and we seem to be in a position of listening to the global analysts’ predictions of what will happen or what is happening around the world. Some say invest in gold, silver or any precious metals. The financial systems of the world are about to crumble, maybe, but if they crumble and everything goes downhill, then what? The global economy is at best shaky and the problems with the dollar being weak and the euro in danger of collapse, looms as the dark clouds of global chaos. What would happen if the euro and the dollar both collapsed? Would there be another world monetary system develop or would each country go independent and use its own local monetary systems?
I read an article about a great disaster that will hit the world in a certain number of days. I don’t give much credence to these types of prophecies. I’m not a doom or gloom type of person. I really look for good to happen and try to be positive thinker. I also think there are better ways than gold or silver to prepare for any global or local financial disasters’. I don’t think the end of everything will be caused by financial failures throughout the world. Do you think that will cause the end of the world and no reason to continue living? Think anyone will be able to live after the world financial systems collapse? Oh please don’t believe that life will be over if money goes away. What comes then? The same thing that was here before money ruled the world. People, meaning you and me and the rest of mankind who haven’t jumped off tall buildings because everything they owned is gone. We will still be alive and kicking. Maybe we won’t have money but we will be alive but without money. Life has to be more meaningful than thinking money is the answer to happiness.
There is one thing we can be sure of and that is if the Federal Reserve continues to print dollars and the market becomes over flooded with worthless dollars we are going to have serious money problems in this country. You will be paying $10.00 for a $1.00 valued item. It is crazy but we are getting close to a terrible inflation epidemic in our own monetary system. So what do we do outside of praying and pleading with politicians about unnecessary spending, while the debt ceiling continues to rise and rise until, “puff.”
We learned something from Katrina I hope. Remember the hurricane in Louisiana? Well I do and it seemed to be the governments fault. Really because they didn’t get there in record setting time? Did the government cause the hurricane? No the people didn’t know what to do, and they looked for someone to blame. If we have a financial meltdown it will be the governments fault but we need to be smarter than the government. The basic nature of people is to forgive a person who hurts you but we never forgive those we have hurt. Why? Because it is their fault we hurt them. Just remember in this situation the only person you will hurt is yourself. Why try to blame anyone else, when it’s you own fault.
If you can’t live without the government helping then you need to revaluate you life, now. Don’t get caught up in the money way of thinking. Think of what you will need if a financial disaster happens. Food, clothing, heat, cooking ability and shelter are the basics of life. If a person doesn’t have these items they will be in serious trouble. There are many ways to develop a food supply. If you have any problems go on line and look for food storage. That is a great eye opening experience.
My wife is great about this sort of thing. She has worked out these problems long before this financial crisis started and we are secure knowing we can live without money for a good time period. I invested in a generator for electricity, camping gear including sleeping bags, cooking stove and gas to operate both the generator and stoves. We have a seventy-two hour emergency kits ready for our use whenever a disaster strikes. There are so many things that can help but you need to discipline your selves to find out where and how to do it.
No one can harm the man who does himself no wrong.
