Wild Winds Hammer South Australia

Power Outages Across the State

Wild winds with a speed of 80-100 kilometres per hour hammered South Australia including the state’s capital city of Adelaide, Mount Crawford, Cape Willoughby and at Strathalbyn.

The wind gusts caused widespread damage in the city and other towns of South Australia. In fact, more than 4,500 homes and facilities are without power across the state.
