Michael Cutler Interviews Journalist Martin Sieff

I recently conducted a video interview with Martin Sieff, a renowned journalist for my website www.TalkBorder.com at AND Magazine.

Here is a link to the video recording of that interview:

Martin has been a journalist for decades and has traveled to dozens of countries over several decades, covering the disintegration of the Soviet Union and wars in far-flung corners of the planet.

For the past decade, he has been chief news analyst for United Press International and is its former Managing Editor for International Affairs. He has received three Pulitzer Prize nominations for international reporting.

He spent 13 years with the Washington Times and for 5 years was that newspaper’s Chief Foreign Correspondent. He is currently the Chief Global Analyst at The Globalist Research Center.

He was educated at Oxford University where he studied history and economics.

Here is a link to his incredible biography:

During the free wheeling interview we tackled the First Amendment, journalism, border security, free trade, education and a number of other essential issues. Having mentioned the First Amendment I am providing a copy of these fundamental component of our Constitution:

First Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

The Founding Fathers understood that in order for our nation to have a true democratic process, the citizens had to be guaranteed the right of conducting debates, discussions and, if need be, arguments, provided that all such encounters were done “peaceably.” This is why the right of the people to peaceably assemble is noted in the First Amendment. Back then the only way to have those discussions was face to face.

Today we suffer from a form of censorship that is imposed by various groups who take the position that if anyone disagrees with them, they are the enemy!

Nothing could be further from the truth! The discourse called for in the First Amendment is literally “As American as Apple Pie!”

This is one of the primary reasons I have created my program on AND Magazine to provide information that is all too often not being provided by traditional news programs.

It is my goal, as the Senior Immigration Editor for AND Magazine, to provide perspectives and information about the immigration crisis and related areas of concern, that are not being provided anywhere else.

The first step in problem solving is to acknowledge that a problem exists.

If you like what you find at my website, I ask that you forward the link to as many folks as possible and ask them to do the same- I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth!”

If our government’s failures to secure our nation’s borders and effectively enforce our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!
