Known for its Hot Springs the world over, Miracle Springs Resort And Spa has the only natural hot springs in all of Palm Springs. They’re located in the foothills of Desert Hot Springs, where the air is refreshing and the springs reach temperatures from 90 to 102.
The minerals in the hot springs here soothe the aches and pains of many a tourist. This is where one can recenter and rebalanced the body. Included at the resort is their spa, which has 15 various types of massage services, along with a couples massage and a Wedding Bliss and Fantasy Package. Like any good spa there is skin care and body therapies. The Seaweed and Kelp is one I would recommend for body therapy.
Crystal Bradley, the operations director of Desert Hot Springs Resort shared with me the importance of “a healthy food intake.” She told me “We have a selection of smoothies, salads and items that are not fried. Our foods are prepared fresh daily.”
Culinary Journey
The Sunshine Cafe, which overlooks the pool area, has a cocktail lounge, as well as a nice uplifting dining area. We started off our afternoon lunch with a Triple Berry smoothie. On a hot day this natural drink hit the spot, with the refreshing taste of blueberries, banana and mango.
Antonio Murray, my videographer ordered Chicken Parmesan and I ordered Minestrone soup and a Caesar salad with Salmon for myself. This was a well deserved break from a days hard work interviewing Anthony Anderson from “Blackish” and George Lopez, among other celebrities at Mr. Anderson’s golf tournament fund raiser at Big Horn Golf Resort.
As Anthony Anderson always points out, “prayer, dedication and focus” are three very important things in our everyday living.
By the way, the Sunshine Cafe is open every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. with room service and poolside service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Desserts
For those who have a sweet tooth (like me!) I recommend the Moist And Nutty Old Fashioned Cake With Carrots, Coconut, pineapple, and thick creme cheese frosting. There’s also a selection of assorted pies.
