26 Beach Restaurant Offers The Best Hamburgers in Town

In Marina del Rey and Venice there’s no shortage of sushi restaurants. However, there is one unique place to dine that is one of a kind and that is 26 Beach Restaurant. For quite some time I had been looking at their business card which showed a young man eating a huge hamburger. That young man is Francis Mori, the son of the late Yuki Katsu, who at the age of 16 became Japan’s 4 time National Diving Champion.

It was truly fate that enthralled Executive Chef Francis Mori, to change the course of his career in sports into becoming a great chef. His family cooking lineage began in 1830, when Yuki Katu’s grandfather, who was mentored by a Shogun chef, opened his first sushi house in Tokyo, Japan.

Today 26 Beach house has been noted by Sagat Survey as one of the top L.A. Burger List places to dine. Their hamburgers are unique and so delicious, not to mention a unique decor in the Garden Dining room, where there’s a retractable roof for those romantic evenings.

Enough already, I enjoyed the California Roll Hamburger, which consists of 100% Black Angus Beef with snow crab atop the burger with avocado, sushi ginger, Boston lettuce, tomato, noise wasabil-shoyu mayonnaise. All this put inside a homemade organic bun. Next, I decided to partake in a Waldorf Curry Chicken Salad. Ah, the very best salad I’ve ever enjoyed. It’s prepared with avocado, walnuts, blueberries, grapes, apples, raisins, Boston lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, and blueberry vinaigrette.

There are many different salads and various crafted hamburgers, pasta, pizzas, all prepared with organic ingredients which are so tasty, that you’ll agree with me, you’ll tell all you friends about 26 Beach Restaurant.

26 Beach Restaurant is located at 3100 Blvd. in Venice. Their hours of operation are 8am-10pm Monday-Friday and 8am-10pm Friday-Saturday and 8am-9pm on Sunday. Call 310-823-7526 for reservations.

Celebrity Scene News awards 5 stars to 26 Beach Restaurant for unique cuisine and service.
