Young actress and model Ashley Dekker, 18, is interested in an upcoming film project that will be held in the United States.
Thing is, Dekker lives in Amsterdam!
ACTRESS DISCOVERS FILM CASTING
This actress recently read about a casting. The Southwest Florida Chapter of United Film & Television Artists (UFTA) has plans for a film project on casting, called “Castings.”
One plan for the film is that it be used to help educate those new in the entertainment business, showing them the dos and don’ts of casting or auditioning.

Ashley Dekker discovered UFTA online and has promoted herself in the areas of acting and modeling.
This dark-eyed beauty resides in Amsterdam, but that won’t stop her.
“I am 18 years old, and I live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I just read about the UFTA casting, and I am very interested.”
MODELING AND ACTING
Both modeling and acting are of high interest to Dekker.
“It’s my dream to be an actress since I was 4 years old. I also love to sing and dance. I have been singing and dancing since I was a toddler.”
Dekker seems quite serious about acting, and she has trained for it. She, as well, shares about her role models.
TRAINING AND ROLE MODELS
“I began private acting lessons at the age of 7. I have also studied acting in school.
My role models are Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande. They motivate me, as they sing and act, and I love that too!”
In addition, Dekker says her role models, and herself, also have bubbly personalities.
“Besides being very motivated, I am also a strong person, and I fight for my dreams. Nobody can ever stop me from that.
It’s a big dream of mine to be famous in the United states and all over the world. I know that it’s the dream of many girls, but I will never give up trying.”
JUSTIN BIEBER
Justin Bieber and Dekker’s mother have words this young entertainer believes in.
“I keep Justin Bieber’s words, ‘Never say never,’ in my a head a lot. My mother always told me too, ‘If people don’t laugh about your dreams, then you don’t dream big enough.’
In other words, sometimes you have to fall and stand right back up if you want to be someone ‘big’ in the hollywood scene.”
