Production Company Confirms Film Shoot Locations

On Jan. 14, 2014, the United Film & Television Artists (UFTA) production team decided on the locations for shooting their film, “Casting.”

The film’s director of photography (DP) Ernesto Lasso de la Vega announced that he and UFTA have decided on shooting in Naples and Fort Myers, Fla.

“Yes, we have been in search for the perfect locations for our film for a long time. It is not something we can just jump into.

What was perfect last year, or even last month, is not necessarly going to work for us this month, but now our new locations seem to be perfect.” – Lasso de la Vega

For different reasons, the film locations’ search results changed, and that is not uncommon in the entertainment business!

“I have worked in ‘show biz’ for over half my life, and that’s a long time! I’m excited to be part of creating a film as well, and yes, I will also be in it. I will portray the film’s producer, how original!” – UFTA President Al Quinn

Quinn, 84, said that all the principal and supporting parts have been cast for in this film.

“Right now we are happy with where we’re at with the film, and production begins soon. We have our first shoot date set for Saturday, Feb. 8.”
