Keanu Reeves’ ’47 Ronin’ Pushed Back for Christmas 2013 Release

Keanu Reeves definitely knew kung fu – and showed it to audiences – and the machines – as Neo in the Matrix trilogy.

Now, the cool action hero who defines “Whoa!” attempts a big-screen comeback with 47 Ronin, which is undergoing its own slicing and dicing behind the scenes.

Reports have now stated that Universal has let go Carl Rinsch as director, as well as the film going over its budget, and now 47 Ronin’s release date has been pushed back for the second time.

47 Ronin stars Keanu as an outsider who teams up with a group of samurai on a mission of revenge against the man who killed their master in the 18th-century Japan.

Originally planned for a November release, 47 Ronin was then set for next February, and now the film is currently set to come out next Christmas.
