The film stars Salma Hayek in her Academy Award nominated portrayal as Kahlo and Alfred Molina as her husband, Diego Rivera.

In addition to Lake’s screenwriting skills, the movie was also adapted by Clancy Sigal, Gregory Nava and Anna Thomas from the book ‘Frida: A Biography of Frida Kahlo’ by Hayden Herrera.” – Wikipedia

Lake’s Teaching Skills

The way Lake shared her expertise in the areas of writing and films kept everyone’s attention.

Lake’s popularity required the conference, held at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, to use one of their largest meetings rooms, an auditorium of sorts, in order to hold the conference’s attendees who were there to listen and learn.

One could see many attendees taking notes as fast as possible in order not to miss what Lake had to say.
