His new book of poems from Xllibris derives its sinspiration from Rev. Martin’s deep and abiding faith as well as love of his only son, Johnathan Edward Martin.
Rev. Martin began writing poetry in 1974 but never thought of compiling the poems into a book. He continued writing and everything just fell into place-a book evolved. His poems are inspirational and written in a straightforward manner. He feels that his poems are “songs of the heart” and have inspired a different “take” on his anthology. “Life Is What You Make It” glows with the Rev.’s personal view of how to live your life. “Success” is a poem structured from 85% quotes of other writers.
