Ultra Slim Optical Camcorder Is A Genius

Ultra Slim Genius Camcorder Shoots HD

Genius, a Taiwanese company that normally plays in the field of computer peripherals, just launched their first camcorder, the G-Shot HD575T, in the USA and Canada.

The G-Shot HD575T is a slimline hybrid HD touch screen camcorder that shoots high-quality stills and video, without breaking the bank.

The main body width of the G-Shot HD575T is only 2.28,” one of the slimmest optical camcorders available. It shoots high definition video in 1080p, and also 16megapixel still images, using software interpolation. The 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom make it useful for distance too, and it has a burst mode.

The 3″ LTPS touch display is the same size as a Canon 7D HDSLR screen, and it rotates, as well as folding in and out. The touchscreen makes it easy to make brightness adjustments with the Auto Exposure feature, and after you have a shot, you can easily rotate pictures with a twist of your finger.

The stored video in high-compression H.264 format (like the Canon 7D, and it can record 30pcs/1920 x 1080 pixels

No matter the lighting situation, the G-Shot HD575T ensures high-quality pictures and videos. The backlight compensation mode allows you to clearly see faces, and for low-light situations, the G-Shot HD575T has a LED light and flash.

Motion Detection Mode allows the camera to be set up and left unattended , so you can capture those cute skunks the run around your yard at night, without having to wait up for them. As soon as it detects motion, the camera starts recording and stops after the movement in the area stops. This saves power as well as storage space – and time in post-production when you are editing your work.

The G-Shot HD575T has plenty of memory built-in – 32MB and there are dual SD slots that take Micro SD and HCSD cards. An HDMI cable allows you to connect to a computer monitor or TV.
