Facebook Charging Members to Send Private Messages

Mark Zuckerberg told CNN 2 years ago that Facebook will always be free. Well that is not entirely true anymore.

Since Facebook became a public company, they have been losing money. Besides advertisements on their website, now they are beginning to pass the buck on to the consumer.

What can we do though besides stop using Facebook? Well you could send a private message to Mark Zuckerberg, but I hope you have $100.00!

The image we had, but which has now disappeared, was real and not photoshopped. According to the Wallstreet Journal, they were told by a Facebook representative “We are testing some extreme price points to see what works to filter spam.”

Could it only be a matter of time before Facebook starts offering “tiered” accounts where if you have a paid account you get more features than a free user? I think so!
