Manage your DVR recordings with Comcast’s Xfinity App
With the Xfinity App, Comcast customers are able to browse or search through their local TV listings. Once the customer finds what they want to watch, they can tap their selection and it will change the channel of their DVR to that channel or select to record their selection.
Next month, Comcast plans to update the application so customers can watch television shows or movies directly from the app. The app will first offer content from “the top premium networks,” Comcast said. Eventually Comcast plans to add “thousands of additional entertainment choices.”
The Xfinity application is available now in the Apple Apps Store for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. The application is free.
