NTT America Exhibits at Largest CIO and IT Gathering in Florida

NTT America, an infrastructure services provider that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, will be exhibiting at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2011 as part of NTT Communications’ silver sponsorship of the event.

The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2011 is considered one of the largest and most important annual gatherings of CIOs and senior IT leaders. It delivers independent and objective content with the authority and weight of Gartner, one of the world’s leading IT research and advisory organizations.

NTT America‘s exhibit will have cloud architecture experts on-hand to demonstrate its recently announced Global Enterprise Portal. The Portal challenges IT leaders to re-imagine data as key to their enterprises’ success.

NTT Communications’ Global Enterprise Portal was designed to simplify how cloud computing services are administered, but at the same time increases the level of security required in the cloud.

The Global Enterprise Portal offers a single site for enterprise IT administrators to access their NTT Communications services that include cloud computing, managed storage and security, network, colocation, and managed hosting. Administrators will also have access to a variety of productivity enhancing features that include provisioning tools, reporting, monitoring, access to high level support and billing information.

To address enterprise cloud security demands, NTT Communications includes a secondary level of user access authentication.

The theme of the symposium and ITxpo is “Re-imagine IT: Leading from the front.” IT leaders who will be attending are expected to re-imagine how new technologies can be embraced and used to their advantage. They will be asked to re-imagine several things such as business structure in which information users are simultaneously creators and consumers, information technology through a process of “creative destruction and the evolving role of the IT department.
