Honda’s Accord and Fit models for 2011 were chosen as winners of Card and Driver magazine’s annual “10Best Cars” award. The award is prestigious and highly competitive within the automotive industry.
The Accord, now in its eight generation, has achieved “10Best” status twenty-five times during the last twenty-nine years since Car and Driver started the competition. Honda Accord, being a consistent recipient of the award, has bested more than any other vehicle in the award’s history.
The Fit, on the other hand, has been honored with “10Best” status in each of the five years since its release in the United States market.
“The Car and Driver ’10Best’ awards are among the most coveted awards in the industry,” said John Mendel, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “These awards recognize the company’s ongoing emphasis on performance, quality and safety, and Honda is honored to have its vehicles regarded so highly over the years.”
