Go Now: Highlights Natasha Richardson ski accident to the Punisher War Zone

This is Garrett Godwin, and it is time to Go Now, where I give you what’s going on in the world of entertainment. So, let’s get started, shall we?

  • NEW YORK (Associated Press): It was reported yesterday that award-winning stage and screen actress Natasha Richardson was in a ski accident in Canada. Rumors have been flowing that she’s been brain-dead, in a coma, or died. It has been recently reported that Richardson has been taken to a hospital in New York, where family and friends gathered near her. The New York Times has reported that her condition is very serious. Richardson, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, is also the wife of Liam Neeson, who immediately left during the Toronto production of his next film Chloe. The couple has two sons.
  • LOS ANGELES (E! Online): A representative from Jessica Langer has recently stated that the Oscar-winning 59-year-old actress will be expected to go home after being treated overnight for a broken collarbone. Lange suffered from injuries at her Minnesota home and took a fall. Her rep said she’ll be “just fine.” Lange will be seen in Grey Gardens, slated to premiere on HBO April 18.
  • Several weeks ago, NBC plans to renew Heroes for a fourth season. Now, it has been confirmed that the title of the next volume will be named “Redemption,” which will start during the last act of “Fugitives.” So far, there’s no word yet on what the volume will be about. Until then, watch the next chapter of Heroes: Fugitives this Monday at 9pm on NBC.
  • Punisher: War Zone shoots his way onto DVD, as British actor Ray Stevenson takes on the role of the Marvel Knight antihero who wages a one-man war against the guilty and corrupt. This time, he faces a formidable opponent in Jigsaw (Dominic West). The film will have both a double-disc special edition as well as a standard version featuring both Widescreen and Full screen versions of the film. Punisher: War Zone is available on DVD right now.

And that is all the time we have here, so thanks for joining me. But don’t forget to check out the latest right here on Newsblaze (NB).
