Pizza places are all over Los Angeles. Pizza, I dare say, is one of America’s favorite treats. At Pieology in Culver City, Kasra Yeganch, the General Manager, prides his family in specializing in gluten-free pizzas and healthy pizzas, where its patrons bring their own imagination in crafting their own pizza.
Kasra’s family has 6 locations, Carson, Korea Town, Encino, Topanga and Culver City. Kasra’s family understand the importance of Organic foods, an inspiration.
All their ingredients are fresh and baked in an open flame wood stone oven. Exploring the various pizzas, it all starts with a garlic herb butter dressing as the base of the pizza. The patron then decides whether they want a whole wheat, regular or gluten-free crust.
The fun begins with selecting the sauce, the cheeses and meats, toppings greens and vegetables and topping with their favorite sauce.
There are eight different pizzas, three different salads and various drinks, including beer and wine and some craft beers.
Our favorite two pizzas are the Rustic Veggie, which is prepared with a black pepper whole wheat crust, house red sauce, olive oil, mozzarella, garlic, mushrooms, artichokes, fresh basil, grape tomatoes and the Classic Margherita, prepared with fresh basil, grape tomatoes, garlic, mozzarella, parmesan and olive oil.
There are also some great salads such as the Classic salad. It consists of organic field greens, gorgonzola, all natural chicken, diced cranberries, candied walnuts and light raspberry vinaigrette.
Everything made with love exemplifies love within us. So why not grab yourself one of the Belgian beers or a craft beer and enjoy a healthy alternative in amazing pizzas.
