South Carolina State Senator Robert Ford said, in a State Senate judiciary hearing, that only Mexicans are capable of doing hard work, and black Americans and white Americans are lazy.
Apparently, Senator Ford believes Americans have earned the right to be lazy and the only way to get any work done in this country is to open the borders and allow people from other nations to come in and do all the work. Americans, would, presumably go on welfare, paid for by the Mexicans, who would pay taxes.
After some time, left unspecified by Senator Ford, those Mexicans, having earned the right, could also be lazy and go on welfare, allowing a new wave of illegals to do the work.
No outrage was forthcoming from the NAACP, which may agree with the South Carolina Senator, giving him an easy pass, saying his words were “unfortunate.” The Senator, who wholeheartedly believes his words, repeated and justified them later.
The NAACP statement may signal a change in focus from supporting blacks to supporting people with lighter skin tones, like Mexicans. Stay tuned!
