Pop star Jewel will perform an acoustic version of a previously unreleased song she has written called “The Shape of You” during the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards, reports producer and music journalist Bruce Edwin of The Hollywood Sentinel. The song, which will be for sale on iTunes, is reportedly about the loss of a friend.
The Emmy broadcast guest starring Jewel is set to air live on NBC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Aug. 29th at 5 p.m. Pacific.
