High IRGC Casualties in Its Meddling Across the Region

According to Syrian state television, U.S.-led coalition warplanes targeted positions of the Iran-backed pro-Assad militants and Iraqi militias in Al Herri located near Al Bukamal in eastern Syria on 17 June 2018. As it meddles across the region, the IRGC suffers high casualties.

Some reports indicated this may have been an Israeli air or missile attack.

At least 20 Iraqi members of a group linked to the Iran-backed Hashd al-Shaabi (PMF) units were killed and 50 Lebanese Hezbollah militia members were killed and injured during this attack.

After 24 hours, IRGC Quds Force-linked Hashd al-Shaabi (PMF) confirms a number of its members being killed in these airstrikes.

Although Syrian TV announced that 38 Iran Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members were killed and wounded in these attacks, IRGC has remained completely silent.

The Revolutionary Guards Corps chief Ali Jafari said today: “We are very close to victory in Yemen… The Arabic/Western coalition has suffered a defeat in Al Hodaydah…”

When the Iranian regime tells such big lies, rest assured they are facing a miserable failure.

A video received from social media inside of Iran indicates a high number of IRGC casualties, and corpses.

IRGC is known to continuously deny high casualties in its meddling across Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon.
