Night Watch: TEHRAN – Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called upon regional states and Muslim nations to mobilize their resources against Israel. His call was part of his inaugural address for the Ninth Conference of Foreign Ministers of Iraq’s Neighbors Plus Egypt and Bahrain. President Ahmadinejad referred to Israel as a forgery and an imposition by the West who uses Israel to cause unity in the West and division in the Muslim world. [IRNA]
So far events in the region are proceeding according to Tehran’s script. Hamas and other terrorist groups are playing their leading role in causing the war by their continued Qassam missile fire directed at Israel for nearly a year. Tehran, as well as other Islamic governments, knew Israel would strike back, providing Tehran with its reason for leading the Muslim’s world’s military-Jihad response in the name of supporting Palestinian people, stating the war will destroy an instrument of the West and that is where Tehran’s script breaks down or at least the part they have told Ahmadinejad.
Iran’s President, since he is not a cleric, may not have been taken completely into their confidence by Iran’s religious-economic-military establishment. Financial interests controlling the Jihad know the popularity, “unity”, war with Israel will cause all over the Islamic world but they also know they do not possess an unlimited budget or unlimited military resources and that concentrating on destroying Israel will leave a lot less for them to attack their three most important targets, the West-India-Russia. Defeating them will make Iran much more prominent and powerful than defeating Israel.
Tehran’s Defense Ministry has already designated and budgeted their limited engagement forces for their symbolic military gesture in support of Palestinian people and that’s it. They will be given Tehran-Riyadh’s blessing,glorious publicity even told they are on the holiest front, everyone jumping on the destroy Israel bandwagon. Then Iran will celebrate their martyrdom.
A year or so ago I came across a website connected to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. On it were two supernatural figures that can be only described as materializations of forces of the occult and pre-Islamic. One was a large black figure on a black horse wearing an ancient or medieval helmet. If his face were revealed it would not be a human one. The other figure was beneath him, a blood red bull with a man’s face. His expression was one of waiting to consume more blood. These are the forces that control Iran’s government and they’re thirsty, this is no exaggeration and they demand sacrifice, suicidal- conventional warfare or any other way. These forces and their ability to mislead are discussed quite often in the Bible and they don’t care if Israel exists or not or even if Iran exists, they want consumption of blood and souls, again this is no exaggeration.
It’s Ayatollah Khamenei’s role to bless and send them. I suspect other senior clerics know this as well, the inner circle. Perhaps a few of the higher non-clerics in Tehran’s government are also an initiate in these beliefs. Beliefs that benefit no one including those who knowingly worship them. Perhaps Ahmadinejad will meet them shortly. He will become more well informed then, not to mention the tragic masses who sacrifice themselves ignorantly. If President Ahamdinejad really believes Tehran intends to destroy Israel then he has obviously gotten to carried away by all the publicity and perhaps also by his title.
