Around 150 specialized travel agents around the world have just revealed the top 6 honeymoon havens. These agents are top-calibre when it comes to honeymoon and destinations weddings.
The survey was spearheaded by Vacation and it revealed that the top destinations are St. Lucia, Jamaica, Bora Bora/the Tahitian Islands, Riviera Maya, Italy and Hawaii.
The Top Six Honeymoon Destinations
Each destination is unique and offers alluring getaways for couples who are looking forward to romantic and adventurous getaways.
Here are the top six honeymoon destinations:
- St. Lucia
Located in the Eastern Caribbean, St. Lucia is a perfect destination for couples who are adventurous. Its beaches are known for the blue water and couples can go scuba diving.
Marvelous cabanas in the rain forest also make the island an enticing place for couples. The cabanas are hidden by the trees and connected by wooden walkways, adding a naturalistic feature to the romantic getaway.
Aside from that, a tour at the scenic Pitons, a pair of jagged volcanic peaks, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will surely add a touch of adventure for newlyweds.

“A stay in a Tahitian overwater bungalow is much imitated, but never equaled in design and opulence,” says Connecticut-based travel agent Eric Ardolino. “Each bungalow has its own staircase right into the ocean and your dining room table inside has a glass top that looks into the water, so you can watch the fish below!”
4. Riviera Maya, Mexico
A honeymoon in Riviera Maya can offer sweet moments for the couple especially when they can relish all-inclusive beachfront resorts and a wonderful visit to ancient Mayan ruins.
