Argentina added to a controversial day when they beat Mexico to arrange a Quarter Final meeting with Germany.
The first goal was the cause of the controversy. Headed in by an offside Tevez, the goal was given on twenty-six minutes to put Argentina into the lead and help them on their way.
Higuain added a second just seven minutes later when taking advantage of a defensive mistake and bagging his fourth goal of the tournament. Tevez grabbed his second of the game just after halftime to put Argentina into a comfortable 3-0 lead but Hernandez pulled one back for Mexico with just twenty minutes left on the clock.
Another fine attacking display from Argentina but their defense remains to be tested against the big boys of the tournament. Up against Germany, who booked their place after beating England 4-1 today, it certainly will be tested and we should be in for an exciting Quarter Final.
