World Cup: Brazil Cruise To Next Round After 3-0 Win Against Talented Chile

Brazil went up against a defiant Chile side tonight as they looked for progression into the Quarter Finals. They were odds-on favorites on paper and lived up to that on the pitch against a very skillful Chilean side.

Chile have been good throughout the competition and played well against Brazil here, but there was no stopping the stars of the game tonight as Brazil romped to a 3-0 victory. Juan hit the roof of the net with a header after the half hour mark following a corner and moments later Fabiano slipped one past the ‘keeper after some slick passing.

In the second half Chile made a couple of changes to try to get back into the game but just before the hour mark Robinho curled a sweet shot into the net to pour salt into Chilean wounds as Brazil cruised to a 3-0 win.

A good win for Brazil who will play Holland in the next round of the Tournament. Brazil, along with Spain, were the main favorites for the competition and Spain will try to progress tomorrow when they play a difficult match against Portugal.
