There was only one Adolf Hitler and we hope and pray there will be no other Hitler like him.
On December 2017, Sarah Jeong, the New York Times’ editorial board latest addition, claiming to be a thought leader, bragged, “I was equating Trump to Hitler before it was cool.” A month earlier, this shameful person, claiming to be a journalism star had tweeted “how f**king prescient was I on Trump = Hitler.”
No serious person equates Trump with Hitler. No serious newspaper hires someone who speaks this way to its editorial board.
Don’t compare Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. It cheapens Hitler’s murderous ‘legacy’, it lowers the Hitlerism bar.
One day, after one of Donald Trump’s rallies, in which people raised their hands in a loyalty oath gesture and the photos made it look as if their hand is signaling the Sieg Heil, the Nazi victory salute used originally by Nazis at political rallies, The Huffington Post headline screamed, ‘This Donald Trump Rally Looks like a Scene from Nazi Germany.’
This absurdity began with comedians Bill Maher and Louis C.K., commentator Glenn Beck and even three former Mexican presidents cautioning the American public that Trump is a potential new Fuhrer and we, the people, will be living in Weimar America, the like of Germany in the 30s.
Many pundits called President Barack Hussein Obama a light tyrant. No one in the media went off the handle about his hostile behavior towards liberty. After all, Obama is a Democrat and Democrats do not criticize other Democrats, no matter how bad he or she appears to be.
BUT, when President Trump uses kind of tough-guy talk, that to many makes a lot of sense, he is a Hitler or a Nazi type populist, they say. HOW?
Comparing Politicians to Hitler/Nazis
Sadly, in the United States, there is rather a history of Hitler comparisons, used against conservative and liberal politicians in America, alike.
Astoundingly, President Trump is in a club of other potential Nazi-style ‘dictators.’ Senator Ted Cruz is a potential Hitler; for attending a fundraiser at the Dallas home of a rich donor who owns some paintings by Hitler, Churchill, Eisenhower, Monet and Renoir, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former Democratic National Committee Chair registered Senator Marco Rubio to that Nazi club.
Let us not forget that on July 30, 1964, Jet Magazine compared Senator Barry Goldwater’s rise in the political arena, essentially a libertarian and a defender of gay rights, to the rise of Hitler.
His Democrat rival for the presidency, George McGovern often compared Richard Nixon to Hitler; President Ronald Reagan was at one time called a Hitler and President George Herbert Walker and President George W. Bush’s family was claimed to be associated with the Nazi regime.
At a very low point of American politics, former governor Mike Huckabee alleged that as a result of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) multinational Iranian nuclear deal, “President Obama Marching Israelis to ‘Door of the Oven‘.”
President Trump has a favorable and fair policy toward the Jewish state, Israel, by far exceeding any other American president’s same policy.
President Trump has a Jewish daughter and her children, President Trump’s grandchildren, are Jewish. Calling Donald Trump a Nazi or Hitler is poisoning the American body of politics.
President Trump, who would like to be compared to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt for his actions, has been himself appalled by being compared to or called a Hitler or a Nazi.
Propaganda Is What?
It is promoting, advertising, publicizing, spinning, disinformation, brainwashing, indoctrination, the big lie!
The Church used propaganda to propagate the Catholic faith.
During the Russian Revolution, when 90% of the Russian Population was illiterate, propaganda was used to spread complicated Marxist ideas to the masses, using illustrations, posters, slogans and images.
Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s ace propaganda Minister, from 1933-to-1945, gave propaganda a new slant. Goebbels’ propaganda theory was expressed in his own words: “Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.”
Directed by Goebbels, the Nazi Propaganda Ministry took control of and nationalized all the German media outfits; all the communication vehicles, to include films, radio, posters, museum exhibits, print and other media. Technology that became available helped spread the Nazi propaganda agenda.
After WWII many Nazis escaped and found refuge in Syria and Egypt. In 1948 after the Arabs lost their war against Israel and Israel gained its independence, these Nazis began to teach the Arabs their art of propaganda, known as: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie.
According to the FBI, in 2018 anti-Semitic hate crime in the USA is up 37%; such attacks are on the rise the third year in a row.
Ilhan Omar, a Somali American Muslim, a Minnesota Democrat, one of two first Muslim women to be elected to Congress, is the telegenic, ideologically progressive type. A politician who openly sides with terror organization Hamas that wants to eradicate Israel, and she is openly against Israel. She spreads “Protocols of Zion”-style conspiracies against Jews on Twitter, claiming that Jews possess the supernatural ability to hypnotize the world as they unfurl their “evil.”
Electing Omar is a clear indication that the Democrat Party is not interested in confronting the dangerous Antisemitism wave in the United States. Rather, they promote it.
The combination of electing Israel haters and calling President Trump a Hitler or a Nazi is fertilizing the soil to soiled Antisemitism in America.
When they equate Trump with Hitler, they open a Pandora’s box for Jew haters to take cover behind the Trump-Hitler image.
When they equate Trump with Hitler, they are using Hitler type propaganda; it is the propaganda kingpin Joseph Goebbels’ Nazi type propaganda against the Jews that amasses ‘Hitlerism’ and Antisemitism.
Democrats should quit comparing Trump to Hitler. It just makes them look stupid.
