How does Jill Kelley figure into the Gen. David Petraeus/Paula Broadwell affair? Why would Paula Broadwell send these threatening, jealous emails to Jill Kelley? Did she really believe she wouldn’t get caught? Or possibly, did she want to get caught? This suggests she wanted her affair with the General to be made known to the public. This is a viable option. When we look at the biographical data made available, on Jill Kelley, what do we see? Didn’t David Petraeus see the same sour grapes we are seeing? After all, he’s our CIA director.
Well, you can tell, I’m beginning to gather up some fairly poignant questions, that have occurred to me as I read over the plethora of complicated information on the several key players in this scandal, that is riveting our nation with utterly shocking tidbits. I must confess, I’ve been very confused in putting together the multiple moving parts, as new developments hit the news wires in rapid succession. So to break the confusion (from data overload), I decided to hone in on Jill Kelley alone; just separate her out of the morass of mind-numbing facts, and pin her pretty portrait up on the examiner’s cork board for scrutiny.
Alright, so I had to look at some good sources, that told me what I needed to know about the unbelievable social life she was leading in Tampa. How did she get the inside scoop with Petraeus and the high brass that are practically running this country? To state it simply, it was by throwing these Big Wing Dings at her lavish antebellum mansion on Bayshore Boulevard (Wisteria Boulevard). But why did the MacDill military brass attend these parties?
As you have probably heard, Jill Kelley was flirting with these VIPs, but as the saying go, it takes two to tango, and these people were freely taking the bait, tossed out by Jill Kelley, who’s a very sassy looking lady (as you no doubt have noticed by now). Alright, so sex appeal is indubitably behind (or rather, underneath) this scandal, my instincts tell me. Okay, so was Jill flirting with Gen. Petraeus some? In my opinion, the photos from the celebration of Gasparilla pirate parade (you know, the ones with the beads), held at the Kelley mansion, hint at the flirting in place, between Petraeus and Kelley.
But how did Paula get wind of what was going on between David and Jill? Well, we’ve learned earlier that she had access to a lot of sensitive data on Petraeus, since she was his personal biographer. Moreover, I wonder whether he had spoken of Jill before when talking to her? Where else would she have heard anything about Jill, since she didn’t know her? It must have been David who told her about Jill. I could be wrong, but if this is true, it would help to explain why she got so enraged with green jealousy!
Then to top it off, once the affair was broken off, Paula’s anger may have grown towards David, since perchance she didn’t want to break it off completely. Therefore, this would explain why she begins to send these crazy, reckless emails to Kelley. Paula knew she’d get caught, but she didn’t care anymore. She wanted the lid to blow wide open. She was angry with Petraeus, by this point, and, at the same time, truly suspected David and Jill were getting into something hot and heavy. This wasn’t true, but she was living under the shadow of her burning passion, not under the auspices of calmness and impartiality
Not since the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky affair have we seen a scandal of this magnitude, involving some of the most important political figures in the land. The difference for me, is the Petraeus/Broadwell scandal is much more complicated. Another theory of mine, that I believe applies here, is that a looseness comes in play with the General and other military brass (at Tampa’s MacDill Air Force Base), a real break-down in discipline, that I suspect was brought on by what I’ll call ‘the seductress factor.’ I mean, look at the holes in Jill Kelley’s financial portfolio! Nine lawsuits against the Kelleys for money mismanagement. Didn’t the CIA know this?
