Comey’s Downfall And The Restoration Of The FBI (Part Six)

(Part Six of Six)

Newly-elected President Donald Trump understands the score. He knows everything there is to know about his FBI director. Now is the time to walk carefully.

He has to get his own attorney general confirmed and his deputy in place. He needs enough leverage concerning the Russian witch hunt to act accordingly. That means he must get rid of James Comey as his FBI director quickly and with the least fanfare possible.

But is that possible?

Trump needs to obtain all the information that Comey has been accumulating. That means tapes, congressional testimony, the works. It is important to remember that, under oath, both Sally Yates and Intelligence officials from the Obama administration stated there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Yet Comey has testified he has informed the Senate Intelligence Committee heads who exactly is under investigation regarding Russia. Trump must act decisively and with as few as possible knowing his intentions; fire Comey.

The president contacts a man he trusts. It is Sen. Grassley (R-IA), the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Grassley confirms that Comey told the senator that Trump was not under investigation personally.

What to do now?

With business-like precision, Trump gets both Attorney General Sessions and the new Deputy Attorney General to legitimately review Comey’s unprofessional actions at the FBI and to recommend in writing that Trump terminate Comey.

It is time to act.

Whether or not Trump knew Comey was in California is subject to debate. But it shouldn’t be surprising to anyone beyond the conspiracy-crazy media that Trump wanted to catch Comey away from his files and other damaging tools for his own demise.

While Comey is 3000 miles from his office, Trump prepares a letter firing him, complete with attachments from Sessions and the Deputy AG. In the letter, Trump states he had been told no less than three times by Comey he was personally not under investigation.

The letter is hand-delivered to FBI headquarters by DOJ officials who immediately lock down Comey’s office and seize everything including all surveillance files of Trump and others. It is all taken to Attorney General Sessions; not to the White House, not to Trump.

That makes it clear that Comey had surveillance tapes of Trump that contradict what Comey had been telling the president. This is bad news for a surprised Comey who is informed by some FBI underling, if not radio broadcasts sooner; the jig is up and Trump knows everything.

Without missing a beat, the Democrat politicians and media begin ranting about Trump’s “interference with the Russia investigation” in accordance with the plan to set up Trump for that charge.

The Russia theme is in full action.

Not so fast. Trump has Comey’s files, documents and information safely with Sessions at DOJ. Trump triumphantly and purposely sends a tweet that says: “James Comey better hope that there are no tapes of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press.”

The compliant media and the other conspirators have a conniption fit. They scream about the “inappropriateness” of Trump’s tweet, but the wiser of them know the truth. Comey and the appropriate individuals know the icy, clear message. Their plan has failed and Trump’s DOJ is now holding all the cards.

The whole Russia agenda comes crashing down like a house of cards. The hysterical screaming continues from Hollywood to Washington. But they now face a legitimate DOJ. They fall strangely silent as they regroup and confer.

Their strategy to get Trump has failed miserably. Meanwhile, the fired Comey realizes all the leverage is with Trump. Now he faces sudden repudiation from the Clinton crowd and is cast to the wolves.

Not surprisingly, Comey informs Congress publicly he will not testify. He strangely doesn’t wish to discuss why he was fired. Senator Grassley and a shaken Senator Feinstein issue public statements confirming that Comey told them that the “Russia Investigation” does not involve President Trump personally.

AG Sessions and his Deputy AG use the seized Comey intelligence to weed out the conspirators. Now they have the leverage to be sure they will not get a robot Comey look-alike as an interim FBI director. They do not have to wade through a media circus to get a legitimate man or woman to helm the FBI.

Now most of the FBI corruption will be finished before a new director is appointed. The Trump administration hopes the Democrats grandstand mightily, taking months to be satisfied with a new FBI leader. There will be no interference as the FBI is set back on its proper course of duties.

President Donald Trump, declared a dummy and incompetent, in one fell swoop has beheaded a truly toxic and dangerous enemy to his administration and the United States. He has dealt a death blow to the Clinton/Obama political machine. Now begins the complete restoration of the FBI’s reputation of integrity along with the that of the formerly corrupted DOJ.
