To all the people who keep saying that they want to do something new and different – now is your chance!
A very unique event will be taking place this November 20th! If you are open minded and have no problem showing what you are made of (literally) then you should probably check it out.
Young Naturist America is a group of young people who have set out on a quest to promote Nudism & Naturism through events, meet-ups, education and their new website.
On Nov. 20th they will be holding their first big event – Nude Night Out in bar in Manhattan (can you believe it? A bar filled with young people drinking, dancing and having fun just like anyone else just that they will all be nude). They just started the registration on the website which costs $0.50 and you can also add the names of your friends who will be attending with you… the idea is that if someone takes the time to register and submit the request then they are 50 times more likely to actually purchase the tickets once they go up for sale (and this way they will be able to get a better feel for how many people will actually come).
“Since we are really trying to keep a reasonable ratio of men / woman and we want a good mix of ages we are not guaranteeing that everyone who registers will have the opportunity to buy tickets to come to our event (as much as we would like everyone to come we have to think of the long run).” said Jordan one of the group’s founders. He goes on to say: “We are sinking our heart and soul (along with pretty much all my meager savings) into this venture and we hope that through our efforts this wonderful way of life will take root among the younger generation (those are 21-35 years old). In The Nude Night Out? At a Manhattan Night Club or Bar? This Nov. 20? Sounds Like Fun!
To impress” attitudes – we are all pretty much the same… young, old, skinny, overweight, male or female we all have the same basic equipment. What could better than being in a safe environment where you are judged based on who you are and not what you do or how you look? There is more eye contact in such events than in any other.”
Young Naturist and Nudist America are geared more towards the under 40 crowd but in the true spirit of acceptance they do not discriminate so everyone is welcome to join their site and community. Nude recreation has grown tremendously over the past few years and for the first time since perhaps the 60’s we see more and more people in their 20’s shedding their clothes in social settings. Perhaps one day the naturist way of life will be more openly accepted here in the USA as it is in places like Europe, Australia and Canada.

They launched their website less than a month ago and already they have over 400 registered users and around 1,000 (yes one thousand) new people who visit their website daily (and their following seems to grow by the minute).

So let’s hope that they are able to succeed in our sheltered and a bit too conservative country!
