Taking the cue for it’s name from the nearby Folsom Powerhouse, the Folsom Electric and Power Lighting Co. broke ground on Tuesday. It was November 13th, just after 3pm when Doug Scalzi and Vinal Perkins welcomed Folsom Mayor Andy Morin and 22 other guests, partners and friends to witness the groundbreaking on their new project.

The new building, on the corner of Sutter Street and Scott Street in Historic Folsom is truly a masterpiece. At four stories, the building is tall, with only three stories seen from Sutter Street. 30,000 square feet of prime retail, office and loft space will bring the magic of mixed use into one space.

The exterior is to be “distinguished” – showing off its classic architecture and timeless beauty.

At street level on Sutter Street, are four retail spaces, a restaurant space, plus hallways and amenities. Above that are eight office spaces with amenities, all with their own windows and on the top floor, eight lofts.

Garage parking is included in the basement and ground floor. There are 25 spaces, including two marked for the disabled in the basement and 26, including two marked for the disabled on the first level.
