“My mother is the mother of all mothers, and she has 210,003 children.” So says SSgt. Brandon Varn about his mom, Patti Patton-Bader, who he nominated to be America’s Favorite Mom.

Everything Patti does IS for our troops, through Soldiers’ Angels. To Patti, every soldier IS family; it IS that basic. Patti is one of the 15 finalists for America’s Favorite Mom, and every cent she wins WILL be going straight to SA programs.

An email from Brandon:

Hi Everyone,

My mom Patti Patton Bader, founder of Soldiers Angels is up for consideration for NBC’s America’s Favorite Military Mom on Monday (May 5th).

You can only vote Monday May 5th from 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern ST but you can vote up to 10 times (on the 5th) for each valid email address you have. If she wins Soldiers Angels will get more exposure on a National T.V. show on May 11. This exposure helps us show our troops in a real way that they are strongly supported by us at home, and also helps to provide awareness and needed donations so that we can continue to meet the needs of our heroes.

Also, if you get a chance, my mom will be on NBC’s The Today Show during the 9 A.M. hour today. As you all know Soldiers Angels is a wonderful organization of volunteers that does a lot of great support for all the men and women of the military, aids our troops wherever we raise the Stars and Stripes, helps wounded heroes here and abroad, and assists military families in times of need.

Please help us by voting for my mom Monday and maybe passing on this email to a few of your friends. It’s for a good cause and only takes a moment.

Thank you and God Bless everyone who helps our troops,

SSGT Brandon H. Varn

My Mother Patti-Patton Bader

“May No Soldier Go Unloved” When I went to Iraq in 2003 my mom started sending me care packages every day. When I told her some deployed soldiers weren’t receiving anything and I was sharing my packages with them she started Soldiers Angels (, now the Nation’s largest all-volunteer military support organization that has adopted over 200,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen.

My mom has hepatitis C and fibrosis of the liver and is in pain most waking hours and does all of this from her bed. She works as a mom for all the military and their families from the time she arises early in the morning until the time she falls asleep from exhaustion.

She is an amazing example of courage, dedication, selflessness, caring, and patriotism. Soldiers Angels is a large corporation and my mom is CEO. She, like the rest of the volunteers at Soldiers Angels takes no money or compensation – she does all of this because she cares.

May no soldier go unloved.

May no soldier walk alone.

May no soldier be forgotten,

Until they all come home.

Soldiers Angels send letters of encouragement and care packages of support, supply first response backpacks to our Combat Support Hospitals, donate voice activated laptops to our wounded heroes that have lost arms, hands, or sight, and in true Mothers’ Day spirit, has a team that helps expecting mothers whose husbands are deployed.

My mom is not only a great mom for my sister, my brother and me, but is a mother to anyone who wears a uniform and is truly America’s favorite mom.

Thank you for your consideration. SSGT Brandon Varn

Be sure and go watch the video, and then VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! (Yes, you can vote up to 10 times on each valid email address you have.)
