Intivia, Inc., provider of integrated Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management Software called InSync, announced that it has partnered with several federally designated Regional Extension Centers (RECs) established across the U.S.

Intivia has enrolled with RECs in Nebraska, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Texas. Doctors practicing in these states can benefit from Intivia’s strength, background, and software capabilities to support Meaningful Use Criteria through ONC-ATCB certified product.
“With the support of the RECs, we feel it will be easier for physicians to decide on the right software for their practice and increase the adoption rate of EMR system in the healthcare community,” Vachhani added.
Intivia’s enrollment with the RECs will allow small medical practitioners leverage the benefits of InSync EMR & Practice Management system, receive additional support services from RECs and qualify for Stimulus Incentives established through the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH).
Through the HITECH Act, $677 million has been allocated to support a nationwide system of RECs that cover every geographic region of the United States. It offers support to physicians in healthcare communities across the country. This program is expected to help group practices, critical access hospitals, community health centers and other healthcare organizations increase interoperability and improve patient care across the county.
