Bayer Is Suing Vaccine Makers – Why?

The news that Bayer/Monsanto is aggressively suing drug giants like Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson over “stolen” technology or patent appropriation used in their Covid vaccine comes as a surprise to many.

First, who knew that ag-based Monsanto had even developed an mRNA stabilizing technology used in plants years ago – later used in Covid vaccines?

Secondly, who knew that Bayer/Monsanto weren’t part of Big Vax’s Covid profit party that began in 2020 and persists? Reportedly, Bayer/Monsanto did not share in the profits and now want a piece.

Thirdly, who would suspect that Bayer needs to recoup the $63 billion it spent to acquire Monsanto less than a decade ago? Haven’t their cooperative ag franchises performed? Evidently according to news reports. Bayer/Monsanto is facing a parade of successful and ongoing lymphoma lawsuits against its herbicide Roundup or glyphosate

The Monsanto/Bayer “Marriage”

Monsanto, some say the most hated GMO company in the world, joined hands with Bayer, one of the most hated Big Pharma corporations in 2018. It followed the 2017 merger of ag giant ChemChina and Syngenta and the creation of other chem/ag conglomerates since.

Rumors of Bayer Nazi complicity during the Third Reich are true. Bayer was part of the I.G. Farben conglomerate, the primary manufacturer and supplier of the “killer gas” used in the Holocaust. Survivors and their families accuse Bayer/ I.G. Farben of facilitating human experiments on concentration camp inmates and even purchasing living subjects.

How is a company shockingly linked to the Holocaust and its crimes still thriving in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and GMO sectors many ask.

Bayer’s Long Rap Sheet

In addition to problematical ag products like the insecticides Imidacloprid and Clothianidin and GMO corn, sunflower and rapeseed (canola) products, safety signals follow Bayer’s human drugs too.

Statin Baycol Recalled

Bayer removed its lucrative new statin drug Baycol from pharmacy shelves in the US because of its sometimes deadly side effect of rapidly dissolving of muscle tissue.

Yaz Birth Control Pill Linked to Deaths

Bayer’s Yaz birth control pills, marketed to clear up acne and treat severe PMS in addition to preventing pregnancy, were linked to blood clots, gall bladder disease, heart attacks and even strokes in 2006.

Safety Signals Hover Over Blood Thinner Xarelto

Even as deaths were linked to Xarelto, reports of hidden and falsified data surfaced. Trials were conducted by Duke’s Robert Califf, who later became the new FDA despite as many as 50 financial links to drug companies. Fatal blood loss risks connected to Xarelto persist.

Antibiotic Baytril Linked to Resistant Microbes

Bayer’s antibiotic Baytril, once widely used in US poultry flocks, was linked to antibiotic-resistant Campylobacter bacteria and the FDA officially withdrew its farm use in 2005. The drug’s use in animals made treatment of human food provisioning victims difficult said the Union of Concerned Scientists

Conclusion

As Bayer/Monsanto seeks to bring drug giants like Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson to court, the underreported mRNA stabilizing technology at issue continues to pose safety signals in both plants and humans.
