US Defeats Islamic Radicalism, Focuses on Global Warming

At last, we are saved! Thanks, in great part to the policies of George W. Bush, which were continued in lockstep by President Barack Obama, Islamic Radicalism is no longer a threat.

The latest quadrennial defense review from the pentagon that outlines the threats facing the nation makes no mention of Islam or Islamic radicalism, only the amorphous Al Qaeda.

This is good news, according to Rick Santorum, because knowing that the government always tell us the unvarnished truth, it seems the Bush military policies have succeeded in nullifying the threat.

Instead, the report talks about Global Warming. This is extremely good news, because the military will not be needed to fight global warming, so military spending can be scaled back to almost nothing. Greenpeace and Code Pink will be SO happy. We should, however point out to them it was the military that secured this happy position for us.

This may be hard on Lockheed, but maybe they can make wind turbines rather than expensive supersonic jets, or invent some oil-absorbing material that will save wildlife as well as US beaches.

What a novel concept, turning swords into ploughshares and alternative energy vehicles.
