First Element, C.H.I.P
In 2014 I founded Christians Heritage Israel Program (C.H.I.P)
The reason for founding C.H.I.P followed my observation that the United States, founded on the Judeo-Christian ethos, was fast sinking into inexplicable anti-Israel-anti-Jew sentiments. Sinking into the ancient antisemitism Jew hatred.
When a nation’s ethos is Judeo-Christian, there is no room for anti-Israel-anti-Jew sentiments.
Seeking some answers to the origin of these sentiments, it became clear to me it is embedded in the U.S. education system, where professors and teachers inappropriately indoctrinate the young generation.
I realized that by the time a young man or a woman graduates high school or enters college the antipathy for Israel, the homeland of the Jewish people, has been absorbed deeply in their mindset. It has been deeply enshrined in their subconscious through educational brainwashing rhetoric. By then, it is difficult to erase.
The answer I came up with was to catch these kids at a young age before they hear the first anti-Israel word.
The place to do it, as I thought then and now, is in Israel itself.
The basic idea of C.H.I.P was to take groups of young kids – age 12-15, disregarding their faith affiliation – to Israel for ten days of mainly getting acquainted with the Jewish state through having much fun, including activities with Israeli kids their age.
The idea was that after seeing the country and meeting their Israeli counterparts if facing anti-Israel rhetoric at school or college they will be able to rebut it with facts, based on the wonderful experience they had while visiting Israel and the Israeli friends they made during their visit.
The C.H.I.P program did not succeed because parents were scared to send their children to Israel that had the image of an unsafe zone, where terror and war was prevalent. Yet, the number of viewers to the C.H.I.P website is ongoing.
Second Element, Pastor Jentezen Franklin
Listening to my favorite radio station recently I heard Pastor Jentezen Franklin speaking about the anti-Semitism, Jew hatred sentiments that are becoming alarmingly widespread in what is supposed to be a Judeo-Christian society – the United States people. What I heard was that Pastor Franklin was talking about C.H.I.P though he does not know about the program’s idea.
Pastor Franklin’s thought process comes from the basis of Christianity. The factual knowledge that Jesus was born in the Jewish commonwealth, in the land of Judea, and his roots were Jewish. Therefore, there is no place for anti-Semitism in America.
Pastor Jentezen Franklin, a senior pastor of Free Chapel, a multi-site church based in Gainesville, Georgia, calls it, “It’s Time To Stand Up.”
What I heard from Pastor Franklin on the radio program was the same idea as C.H.I.P. It is about sending kids to Israel instead of them being wasted on the beach during spring break. Sending them to learn their Christian heritage while having fun and meeting the Jewish people of Israel, the nation from which Jesus rose to glory.
C.H.I.P, Ahead Of Its Time
I am pleased to say that my C.H.I.P vision came about ahead of the awakening that is taking place today.
The awakening stems from non-Judeo-Christian influence spreading in the United States’ education system, mainly through Islam Jew-hate influential indoctrination and the political left.
Antisemitism has become the salt and pepper of our Judeo-Christian infiltrators who are busy night and day indoctrinating our kids, as well as infiltrating our governance branches and spewing their poisonous rhetoric anywhere and everywhere.
Third Element, Josh Hammer’s Book
As the anti-Semitism alarm is heard, the book “Israel and Civilization: The Fate of the Jewish Nation and the Destiny of the West,” by Josh Hammer has been published.
I heard the author Josh Hammer on a radio program as well, passionately speaking about the connection between the Jewish people and the West, mainly the United States; in other words, the Jewish people’s importance to the West’s Judaism ethos and its survival.
The book could be seen as an influential, next-generation manifesto declaring that the Western civilization’s future prosperity and ultimate fate much depends upon the security and thriving of the Jewish people and the Jewish State of Israel; that the Jewish people’s right to self-determination – meaning Zionism – in their ancestral homeland demands of the U.S. to conduct tight-knit U.S.-Israel foreign policy and relations.
Mr. Hammer’s opinion is that Israel is the West’s man on the spot – the tip of the spear in the battle against Islamist terrorism and secularist nihilism alike.
However, the old-guard voices that have been advocating for the full support of Israel as a nation-state and as an idea are being sunk by theistic, secularist, right, left, and everything in between.
To combat the uproars of multiculturalism, postmodern relativism, tolerance, and Jew-hatred, the time is now for voices from a new generation. We must call out modern antisemitism and sound a call not just to accept, but to enthusiastically embrace Judaism Western civilization’s centrality of character.
After all, the Ten Commandments event at Mount Sinai, and the Bible are the basic elements of who we are, now being called the Judeo-Christian West.
Those elements who hate the Jews are mainly those who support Islamism; those Islamists who preach vile antisemitism and incite against Jews from their mosque’s lectern and town square. They are blowing the anti-Israel-antisemitism trumpets. But they will not stop with the Jews. They will go after all of us in the West.
We cannot allow ourselves to think, as there are those who want us to think, that if we get rid of the Jews all problems disappear.
The Chaos Of Bad Actors
The free world is seeing the impact of international bad actors, whether it is Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis in Yemen, all nurtured by the regime in Iran. Or it is the poisonous influence on our youth in American colleges while we hear of more and more Islamist violence in Europe.
We see where the poison originates. Bad actors like Qatar and Iran finance worldwide bad actors’ work.
The Left has found a partner. Islamism and the Left use each other to cause chaos in the world both for the same reason, the zest for power, each approaches it from a different ideology angle. But they work hand in hand, approve each other and support each other’s actions.
Now it is becoming more obvious that the civilized world sees through the trouble that it is. This civilized world does not like the bad acting, the violence and the poisonous ideology that calls for its demise and they began speaking up and acting.
Whether it is the C.H.I.P program idea that remained so apropos yet inactive, Pastor Jentezen Franklin’s C.H.I.P-like call to send American youth to Israel, or Josh Hammer’s book, all arrive at the same town square where we hear the call to fight for our Judeo-Christian ethos. To fight with all our might for our survival. It is a call to see Israel, the Jewish people’s state and the Jewish people living there or elsewhere, the leading torch to the Judeo Christian civilization renewal, where there is no room for antisemitism.
