Foreign Policy Blunders Will Destroy Democrats This November Poll

The US used to be a powerful country. Obama said the US was weak and that he would restore it. After many broken redlines and no resulting action, with mass appeasement of mullahs, the power of the United States has waned.

The Ukraine crisis followed by the invasion of Putin’s troops into the Crimea sent The White House reeling.

Think back to the 2014 presidential election, when Mitt Romney said that Russia was America’s number one geopolitical threat. Obama mocked him at the time, but very few stood up for Romney. It was too much fun pouring cold water on Romney, the out of touch conservative.

Unfortunately for us, Romney was right, Obama was wrong, and Obama has destroyed US credibility and power.

Democratic hopefuls for the mid term election might be cringeing right about now, as they replay Ronmey’s words in their head.

To add insult to injury, throw in VP hopeful Sarah Palin’s recorded warning during the 2008 election that the Russians would invade Ukraine in the near future.

Sarah Palin Predicting Ukraine Invasion

Translation? Republicans aren’t waiting for the dust to settle before declaring that they saw it coming.

Predictions from the likes of President Obama’s 2008 presidential opponents Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Sarah Palin, and Obama’s 2012 Republican presidential challenger Mitt Romney have Americans scratching their collective heads and wondering if they made a mistake with this young, inexperienced president.

Shouts of “Hope and Change” from those on the left are changing into “What the hell is happening?”

Do you remember the open microphone that caught President Obama promising Medvedev? He said “After my election, I have more flexibility.”

John McCain remembers that. He remembers it well, and McCain repeated this in the Senate this week. McCain recalled Obama’s words to Medvedev, “Tell Vladimir, after I’m elected, I’ll be more flexible.”

Right now, it is open season on President Obama’s botched foreign policy. The interesting thing is that it isn’t only conservatives that are attacking him. The left-sided media appears to have finally awoken, as they often do, very late to the show. They are waking up to the disasters that are Egypt and Libya, all the way to Russia’s new move into the Crimea.

Here in the US, we can all see empty threats from Obama and Kerry. We can also see noticeably broken spirit. If we look at Democrats out on the campaign trail right now, we can see they don’t have anything much to say about success in foreign policy. What do you think President Putin is seeing in this right now?

It is a fair bet that Putin is laughing.

Senator McCain put it well for disheartened American when he said, “This is the ultimate result of a feckless foreign policy where nobody believes in America’s strength anymore.”

Republican views of Vladimir Putin’s cold war aspirations have suddenly become an obvious reality and not a GOP sound bite.

How many news rooms around the country now have a terrible sinking feeling that they backed the wrong horse? How many of them are recalling the days they ridiculed Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin for their views on Russia?

When summing up all of the the recent failures in foreign policy and adding them to the dislike of Obamacare, a political slaughter in November seems to be looming, even with American voters who usually vote straight democrat party line.

There is even a re-write of Mitt Romney’s image in the Republican Party, and some are asking the question, “Who’s out there with a better track record to face Hillary Rodham Clinton than Mitt?”

This country has had plenty of change since 2008. There was also hope, but hope seems to have been smashed on the rocks, while the change continues. Obviously, conservatives say the change has not been good. The question is, what will Libertarians, independents and democrats say?

Their preliminary verdict will be discovered in November, 2014.
