Fairy tales have been taken and made into cartoons. How authentic are these cartoons when compared to the originals? What’s all these subliminal messages I hear? Read on!
A student’s view: Cartoons has strong influences on children whether it’s Dora the explorer who helps children to learn Spanish, or Disney who actually put subliminal messages in children’s minds. Subliminal messaging is wrong. The student prefers anonymity.

My view:
Cartoons and fairy tales should be taken seriously. News stories should be written and the originality kept to a high percentage. Anything less is an insult to their authors and readers alike.
An attempt to dilute them with subliminals is like urinating in a perfect cake mixture. It spoils it and weakens the potency of the originally conceived idea.

Hook went red in the face. “You say you don’t know me but I know you. I knew you before you had the capacity to even remember who you are,” Hook said, deriding him.
“Lies!” Peter barked.
“I’m your dad and though we stand on different extremes I am happy you haven’t become a carbon copy of me,” Hook said. Peter shook his head in denial; his eyes open wide in shock and horror.
“Your communist utopia is just as detrimental as my dystopia. You play too much and will never grow up. You dream of things beyond the fringe of imagination itself and we play too little. The curse of the adult inherited as you become of age, registered into a system destined to suck you dry of your youth, love and imagination and all the things you dared to dream of achieving,” Hook said.
“No,” Peter said quietly, completely crestfallen.
“Yes,” Hook said simply. “I have spoken the words that will haunt you for the rest of your life and you will lose your immortality of boyhood to become a man. Let’s just pray you find the middle ground and become a better man than I was. I’ve taught you all you shouldn’t do.”
Hook’s appearance shimmered like a glitter ball and he disappeared. Hook soared straight at the monstrosity that threatened to swallow the ship whole like a whale swallows plankton. It was as if they blotted out space itself. The multiple fanged beast opened its mouth revealing saliva of the green poisonous kind. Hook flew straight in and a moment later a tremendous roar shook the ship and seconds later a loud boom. The Cracken exploded in a white and blue light. Peter managed to catch the explosion as he stood up but the fallout was a shockwave of goo and foci that sent the ship whizzing into space like a meteor. Peter felt and itched his arm. He took off his green leather jacket and looked at his forearm, a single black hair stood tall.
