Bill Huynh, Owner of Interior Secrets Makes It to List of BRW’s Fast 100

Bill Huynh of Interior Secrets has made it to the list of BRW’s (Business Review Weekly’s) Fast 100. The young entrepreneur gives the credit for his success to his hard work, devotion, and dedication.

Bill Huynh is the founder and the chief executive of the online furniture store Interior Secrets. In the month of December last year, the company moved to Derrimut, Victoria. The company has hired 15 people.

In August last year, Bill celebrated his 30th birthday. At the young of age of 30, it is a great achievement for him to register his name in BRW’s Fast 100 List. His company has literally been one of the fastest growing companies in Australia. Today, Bill is a known name not just in Australia but in the entire world.

This is not Bill’s sole achievement. He has bagged the 20th spot in the Fast Starters Lists. Also, for consecutive years, he registered his presence in Smart Company’s “Hot 30 Under 30” list.

Bill is visibly happy and excited to have received this honor. The young entrepreneur says he is thrilled to see his name on the list amongst the who’s who of Australia.

Interior Secrets was incepted in the year 2009. It was kick-started in a shoebox in Sunshine North. After some time, Bill began to feel a need for a new place to accommodate his stock. And then he bought land in Derrimut, for his warehouse, to store the stock.

Back in 2009, Bill’s parents expressed their desire to live in a home furnished by their son. They asked Bill to furnish their new accommodation with very chic and stylish furniture. But Bill was given the challenge to style the new home on a very tight budget. He was studying accounts back then and knew it would be a tough nut to crack. But he accepted the challenge.

He began working on the challenge. While doing the home, he spotted the table label that flaunted the contact details of the wholesaler. Suddenly, an idea hit his mind. He called the wholesaler and presented himself as an interior decorator. He placed an order for the samples at cost price for his parents.

After four months, he decided to take a leap. He took leave from work and went to China to negotiate with furniture manufacturers. Four months later, he took one step further. Huynh applied for unpaid leave and traveled to China to negotiate with the wholesaler.

Today, he is a successful entrepreneur who supplies customers in Australia. He is now planning to increase his business. His current product range features three thousand plus interior products and he is planning to multiply the count. His products are available on his website. Visit interior secrets website to explore the range.

Bill is now planning to open a showroom in Melbourne as well as Sydney. He says he has been a firm promoter of hard work. He believes that hard work paves the way for success.

He poses himself as an example. Bill Huynh says he wasn’t the smartest in his classes, but has always been very hard working student.

He says, “Business is no different. Ups and downs are a part of the business world and hard work is the key to success.”
