THE BILLIONAIRES FOR BUSH ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXIT STRATEGY. BUT NOT FROM IRAQ-FROM THE WHITE HOUSE. As the Bush Administration sinks deeper in the muck of ineptitude and scandal, the Billionaires are starting to wonder how much longer the “Best President Money Could Buy” will be useful to them. George W. himself is getting more and more paranoid about his legacy, and why his best friends don’t seem to be quite so friendly anymore. “Even Karl seems creepier than usual,” he laments. When the glamorous and terrifying Billionaire power broker, Maura Lee Bankrupt, sweeps into the White House and summons the notorious “Legion of Wealth,” George, Karl, the whole gang find out that the Waldorf salad days are over, and it’ll never be the same again.

Starring the sparkling and irrepressible Billionaire Follies, BILLIONAIRES FOREVER is a spectacular musical romp through the crumbling Bush empire. The show gives audiences an answer to the question “what’s going to happen to Billionaires For Bush once Bush is out of office?” With new music from composer Clifford J. Tasner (aka “Felonius Ax”), and directed by Follies Artistic Director Melody Bates (aka “Ivy League-Legacy”), BILLIONAIRES FOREVER offers a peek into the rarely-seen inner sanctums of the Bush Administration, and the Billionaires who pull the puppet strings. Musical numbers include classics like “I’m a Texas Oilman” and new gems like the “Billionaire Blues,” “Landmines Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” and new age lullaby “Global Warming.” The show is a hilarious and pointed reminder that Bush is not the end of the story when it comes to the Billionaires’ quest for Government of, by, and for the Corporations.

The creative team includes many of the people behind previous hits Spring Bling!, Summer in the Hummer, and Dick Cheney’s Holiday Spectacular. BILLIONAIRES FOREVER is written by Ms. Bates and David Bennett, (who reprises his celebrated role as George W. Bush), and choreographed by DJ McDonald (“Seamus Lee Rich”), whose work has been presented by Dance Theater Workshop, Performance Space 122, The Egg, and at the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival. Producer James Simon received a Tony Award nomination for Bells Are Ringing, co-produced On the Waterfront, and was Associate Producer for Play On! and Damn Yankees with Jerry Lewis in London. Music Director Joseph Reina and Lighting Designer Kate Greenberg round out the creative team.

The cast includes acclaimed Billionaire Follies members Kellie Aiken, Dave Bennett, Dave Case, Melissa Collom, and Yvonne Willrich-Teague, who are joined by talented newcomers Alex Mitchell and Brandi Rhome.

“Delightfully biting political satire” (NY Press), “Enormously entertaining” (Travel Lady Magazine), and “An hour goes by fast when in the company of entertaining folks like these” ( offoffonline.com)-this is some of what the press had to say about the last Follies show.
