People Magazine: Beyonce World’s Most Beautiful Woman

Beyonce celebrates 2012 with the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy with Jay-Z, her husband of four years.

Now, the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning singer/actress has more to celebrate: being on the cover of People as the most beautiful woman in the world.

“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth” Beyonce said in the magazine. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a sense of purpose on this earth.”

Beyonce has remained part of the “girl power” since the late 1990s as part of Destiny’s Child with hits such as “Say My Name”, “Independent Women Part I”, “Survivor”, and “Bootylicious”.

She became even more empowered as a solo artist with “Crazy in Love” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”, and on the big screen with Austin Powers in Goldmember, Dreamgirls, and Obsessed.

Also included on the list are Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara, Charlize Theron, Revenge‘s Madeleine Stowe, Michelle Williams, and Kate Middleton.
