DETROIT: The Kwame Kilpatrick Story has closed its final chapter, as a Wayne County circuit judge decided that the former Mayor of Motor City can join his family in Texas, where he can starting working as an account executive for Covisint. This week, WDIV Detroit has released online the rest of the 800-plus text messages between Kwame and ex-Chief of Staff Christine Beatty, who will be granted an early release on Monday at 12:01 am. LAS VEGAS: Over 25 years since beginning the lone crusade against criminals, Knight Rider returns to where it all started: Sin City. Produced by Paul Casey, the Knight Rider Festival is a celebration in honor of KITT drivers and the fans. Attending are the original and current KR team which includes Justin Bruening (Michael Knight), Deanna Russo (Sarah Graiman), Catherine Hickland (Stevie Mason), Rebecca Holden (April Curtis), creator/executive producer Glen A. Larson, and a “Mystery Guest” (could it be the Hoff himself?). The event has an administration fee of $45, as KITT owners will be raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network. LOS ANGELES: After his flight from Airwolf, Donald P. Bellasario explores the world of time-travel with Quantum Leap, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary at a convention in Los Angeles on March 27-29. The NBC series, which aired from 1989-93, chronicles the adventures of Dr. Samuel Beckett (Scott Bakula), leaping from one life to the next to put right what has been wrong in the past. Both Bakula and Bellasario will be attending, along with co-executive producers Deborah Pratt and Chas. Floyd Johnson. However, Dean Stockwell (Al) won’t be there due to a personal matter.
