Arts Express: CNN’s Peter Arnett Phones In From China

Vietnam, The Ten Thousand Day War: Eminent former CNN reporter and Pulitzer prize winner Peter Arnett phones in to Arts Express on location in China. Arnett discusses the release of his 1980 classic documentary series, Vietnam: The Ten Thousand Day War, just out on DVD, and its lessons for our present time. And back then where reporters really were journalists, and not the news actors today looking more like recent grads from modeling schools. Arnett recounts his lifelong courageous pursuit of not just one side to every story currently in vogue, and often paying the price, while embarking on investigations where most others fear to tread.
