Three-time Academy Award nominated actor Tom Cruise presented at the 84th Academy Awards ceremony this year, which had even higher viewership than last years awards- thanks to a larger number of stars including Mr. Cruise, presenting at the show this year.

Tom Cruise was nominated for his lead performances in “Born on the Fourth of July” and “Jerry Maguire.” He also was nominated for his supporting role in “Magnolia.” Mr. Cruise was recently seen in “Mission: Impossible” Ghost Protocol” and will be seen next in “Rock of Ages” which releases this June 2012. His other film credits include “Tropic Thunder,” “War of the Worlds,” “Collateral,” “Minority Report,” “A Few Good Men,” “Rain Man,” “The Color of Money” and “Top Gun” among many others.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2011 were presented on Sunday, February 26th, 2012, at the former Kodak – Hollywood and Highland Center (now The Dolby Theatre), and televised live by the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation was televised live in more than 225 countries worldwide to critical acclaim.
