‘Tea Party’ Song Becomes YouTube Hit

Performed At Tea Parties Across America

The “American Party Tea Anthem” has become an internet sensation just 4 days after it was posted online at the popular YouTube video sharing website.

Written by Lloyd Marcus (a spokesperson for the Our Country Deserves Better Committee and president of the National Association for the Advancement of Conservative People of Color) the video clip featuring the song has attracted almost 30,000 views at YouTube and earned 4 Weekly YouTube Honors:

The song was performed at Saturday’s Orlando Tea Party that drew over 4,000 people and was a front page story at the Orlando Sentinel. Lloyd Marcus will be performing the “American Tea Party Anthem” at several other upcoming tea parties across the nation (including tea parties taking place on April 15th).

“It’s important for the American people to take action and tell the government that we’re angry about how they are mismanaging our tax dollars,” Marcus said.

“This is a government of the people, for the people, and by the people, and I hope that my song can inspire people to stand up and speak out about the wrongful policies of President Obama and the Congress,” said Marcus.
