Sarah Michelle Gellar Expecting Second Child

Her CW show may be on the Ringer of renewal or cancellation, so to speak, but Sarah Michelle Gellar has another project in the works, as US Magazine broke the news that she and husband Freddie Prinze, Jr. are expecting their second child.

The couple, who has been married since 2002, are parents of daughter Charlotte, who’s now 2 1/2. Sarah and Freddie met on the set of the 1997 teen horror smash, I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Ringer marked Sarah’s return to television since her days of saving the world as Buffy, the Vampire Slayer during the height of “female empowerment” on television back in the late 1990s and into the early 2000s.

The suspenseful thriller has recently wrapped its first – and possibly – only season, as Ringer is yet to be picked up for a second season.
