Reading for Film ‘The Cure’ Held in Southwest Florida

A reading for the film “The Cure” took place in Cape Coral, Fla., and it was held at the home of Stu and Nancy Pepper on Sunday, 16th of Dec.2012.

Behind “The Cure”

“The Cure” was written by Robert Dean Klein based on a story by Stu Pepper.

A short synopsis of the film is about a man looking for the cure for cancer and the challenges he encounters in the process.

United Film & TV Artists

Pepper is the Vice President of UFTA (United Film & Television Artists). He and other officers and members of UFTA were in attendance for the reading as well.

Film Characters

The main characters in the script are Terrance, Rebecca, Doris, Conrad and Sara. There is a host of others who have supporting and feature roles.

Pepper read the part of Terrance, teen Cassidy Reyes read for Rebecca, and her father, Dr. Joe, read for many character parts. Nancy Pepper, Al Quinn and Carrie Belluso also read for a variety of characters.

Funding and Casting

Two of the many upcoming steps for this film will be funding and casting.

Odds are there will be a strong combination of locals and non-locals that will make “The Cure” come alive!
