Just Say No to Jesus, and Yes to Homosexuality?

There may not be a party, when today, Peter LaBarbera accused both Chicago public TV station WTTW and the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) of using taxpayers’ money to honor homosexuality and show programs that shows flagrant anti-religious bigotry during “Gay Pride Month”.

“It is unconscionable”, the Americans For Truth president commented, “that WTTW would show such blatant disregard for its faith-and-tradition minded viewers that it would use anti-Christian programs celebrating homosexuality for its fundraising telethons.

“Public television must be impartial on controversial moral issues. We call on WTTW and PBS to balance their pro-homosexual programming with faith-based educational material from the other side, or stop it altogether.”

“The Power of Harmony”, a documentary that aired on WTTW the other night, had the Dallas-based Turtle Creek Chorale as a fundraiser. The documentary also had scenes that include testimonies from angry “gay” men who hated and criticized the religion they grew up on because it doesn’t accept their lifestyle, and a homosexual gay couple adopting a baby from Guatemala.

The broadcasting of anti-Christian “Harmony” airs this month, which is also known as “Gay Parade Month”. WTTW has recently aired repeatedly “Out of Chicago”, a pro-homosexual documentary that is also being a telethon fundraiser.

“WTTW talks a good game about diversity”, LaBabera said, “but it shows profound disrespect for people of faith and real diversity with its bigoted, one-sided programming on homosexuality.

“We expect PBS and WTTW officials to fix this bias problem.”
