Just what exactly did all those fairy tales do for us anyway? Are they relevant in today’s society? I’ll discover the answer with you!

My view :
When we were children, fairy tales stories filled our imagination. We were just beginning to discover the big world of books. Whether we believe in fairies, they served their purpose and our creativity is all the stronger for their contribution.
I have now an excerpt of one of my favorite stories which is Peter Pan. I wrote this one with a post-apocalyptic tone. Enjoy!
James Hook was dressed in the traditional suit. It was pinstriped ripped and shredded in several places. Probably due to the big fight between him and Peter. Peter was the obvious victor. He is now the leader of the lost boys to defeat the villain Captain Hook. This had also proved tough because his suit smelt of poo. ‘The Space nightmare’, the time travelling crocodile had swallowed him whole and spit him out ‘the other exit’ causing him to be covered head to toe in crocodile plop. Peter unsheathed a golden sword and pointed at the bearded hook. “I’ll ask you one more time. Where is Wendy?”
Peter barked. Hook took what seemed like deep breath and laughed. Peter wondered what was so funny and ordered his lost boys to whack him a couple of times with candy sticks. The poles burst into shards as they bounced off of the shimmering force field round hook.
